NLTK 3.0.2 adds support for BLLIP Parser (API, example usage). - January 2015: Latest version of bllipparser can now parse straight to Stanford Dependencies using PyStanfordDependencies. Also includes better tree manipulation and fewer memory leaks. Available from PyPI.
- December 2014: Released PyStanfordDependencies, a Python interface for converting Penn Treebank trees to Stanford Dependencies. Available from PyPI.

- August 2011: Released source code and materials for the Event Parser (our system in the BioNLP 2011 shared task).

- June 2011: Attended ACL 2011 and BioNLP 2011. Presented full event extraction poster at ACL and its application to BioNLP 2011 (single system, combined system -- latter will be presented jointly with Sebastian Riedel). Mihai Surdeanu will present our RELMS paper.
- April 20th-22nd, 2011: Visited Jude Shavlik's lab at UWisc. Talk on Extraction as Dependency Parsing, tutorial on KBP slot filling and Stanford CoreNLP (slides).
- April 5th-8th, 2011: At Machine Reading Phase 3 Kickoff meeting. Poster on Event Extraction as Dependency Parsing.
- March 2011: Participated in the BioNLP 2011 shared task. FAUST, our joint system with Sebastian Riedel (UMass), got first place in three of the four evaluations, and second place in the fourth.
- February 20th-26th, 2011: Visited Andrew McCallum's lab at UMass Amherst. Gave a talk on Event Extraction As Dependency Parsing.
- February 2011: The BLLIP parser is now on BitBucket. Download the bleeding-edge version here. I've also converted waterworks and hope to convert my other public software projects to BitBucket soon. Also available on GitHub.
